2016 Otterbein Murals – Central and Programming Rooms

“Prism” greets visitors in the central room of the Otterbein Public Library.  Yes, I was 20′ up on scaffolding painting it!

Here are images of the mural in the library’s programming room.  This was an unconventional mural.  I worked out the design with Mrs. Heigel’s sixth-grade students, based on their interests and lives here in Central Indiana.  The students did almost all of the painting themselves, in small blocks of class time.  We are so proud of their work!

Here is her blog post about the project.

Monarch Bear (2015)  As part of “Bears, Oh My” fundraiser for the Greater Lafayette Museum of Art

The Imagination Station in Lafayette has a mural of the solar system that I painted for them; it was my first giant mural.  It’s an exciting backdrop for this important educational space.
